My previous work explored how gene deletion affects hepatic function and disease progression, which sparked my interest in the mechanisms underlying liver ageing. For my PhD, I focus on generating artificially aged iPSC-derived liver organoids using a conditional CRISPR ON\/OFF system to precisely control gene activity and model ageing-related phenotypes.
