Huan Wang graduated with a Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Institute of Reproductive Health, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2023. During her masters, Huan Wang was a member of the Reproductive Immunology Research Group. Her final master thesis was “The Role and Mechanism of IL-10 on Inducing the Differentiation of Peripheral Monocytes to Decidual Macrophages” , under the supervision of Prof. Ai hua Liao. The project focused on the role of IL-10 and oxidative phosphorylation in the differentiation of decidual macrophages and their effect on early pregnancy.
Currently, Huan Wang is a PhD student at the Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy Department. Under the supervision of Prof. Peter Olinga, she will investigate the transfer and effect of drugs on placenta with ex vivo and in vitro models.
