E.M. Jansen

Eva Jansen graduated in Medical Pharmaceutical Sciences (MSc) with a specialization in Design and Engineering from the Faculty of Science and Engineering in 2021. During her master’s program, she conducted a research project at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy at the University of Groningen, investigating factors influencing cough after inhalation of dry powder. For her master’s thesis, she joined the Department of Pathology and Medical Biology at the UMCG under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Gosens, focusing on the role of lung-related extracellular vesicles in COPD. Currently, Eva is a PhD student at the Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy Department. Under the supervision of Dr. Wouter Hinrichs and Prof. Dr. Erik Frijlink, she is developing stable, inhalable mRNA lipid nanoparticles (LNP) in dry powder form.
